Hello.
Since all Websters come centre spotted with Catseye triangles, I figured I should get the proper Catseye tools. I really have'nt got my head around Catseyes' whole system yet, like "Why triangles?" Until now, I'm only familiar with circles. They seem to offer quite a few accessories, like the double-pupil autocollimator. Anyway, I was hoping someone would give a little advice on what they consider to be the "Meat and Potatoes" of the Catseye line of equipment, in order to get great consistent results. They have lots of stuff to buy, but I was just looking for someone to point me in the simplest direction. I will likely be buying Vic Menard's guide as-well. Anyone have any reccomendations on thier "Must have" tools? If you can give me good reason to buy thier more premium tools, I'd love to hear your logic. -David.

The two "must have" Catseye tools would be the XLK Autocollimator and the XLS Sight Tube.

The instructions for collimation always seem 10x more complicated than required. It is actually a simple process that takes less than a minute.

If we can ever get caught up with all our orders here in the next few months, we will make a video showing the whole process.

Thank-you Jim. I appreciate it. And a short video tutorial would be nice.
Looking forward to seeing images of the updated 20" on your website. The same aperture I've ordered. Can't wait. -David.
