I wonder what the primary mirror for that 40" runs in 2010 dollars?

Have you guys done any work with cellular mirrors?

Nowadays, a 40" mirror runs about $40,000 on a monolithic substrate.


40" cellular mirrors are only being produced by one company right now, and there is a 3 year (and counting) wait time just for the blank.
