For those of us waiting for telescopes, which are you currently using, the HotSpot or the Triangle? Is one more advantageous than the other for use with the barlowed laser, the Blug (Flug) and the autocollimator?

Thanks,
Brian

We have both the Hotspot and Triangle available, and will install whichever you prefer.

Either works exactly the same for barlowed laser use.

For autocollimator use we have had customers say they prefer one or the other. We have the Hotspot on one of our own personal scopes and like it a lot.

You can always just switch the spots if you want.

Catseye now do both white and yellow hotspots. There are pros and cons, but apparently the differences are marginal. White is slightly better for XLK autocollimator, yellow better for Blackcat cheshire. I've been using the yellow to date, and admit some of the autocollimator reflections can be feint to see for me. Will be using the white soon. But the advice from Jim Fly is you cant go wrong with either....
