We just finished this C24 for Steve U. from New York.

A 24" scope with f/4.5 optics is a long focal length we have not made in a few years.

Steve wanted to use a big optical finder (rather than a Telrad) so we made the Mirrorbox slightly deeper to avoid any counterweights.

The scope balances with everything from a 5mm to a 31mm Nagler with no counterweights at all.

What's the eyepiece height at zenith with the 24" f/4.5. I have a 24" f/4.5 blank and am just trying to get an idea.

It came out to 97" at zenith.

Yours will be a little shorter because you are not going to need the deeper mirror box to offset a heavy optical finder.
