I have a Webster C22 3.6. Is the secondary mirror coated with a protective layer? What recommendations do you have for cleaning the secondary? thanks
Sam

Yes the mirror has a protective overcoat, but you still must use extreme caution while cleaning.

Take the mirror out of its holder.

Run water over the mirror surface to rinse off any abrasive dust.

Soak in a plastic dish with warm water and one drop of yellow Dawn liquid dish soap for 30 minutes, mirror side up.

Rinse under running water. Water should evenly roll off of the mirror surface, with no "sticky spots" if the mirror is clean.

Finally rinse with distilled water and allow to dry. If mirror is clean, the distilled water will leave no spots.
